Meet the Coaches

Coach Jim Pereira,  is Proway Baseball, llc. Jim, was  the  Head Coach , pitching coach at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA. He coached at Newbury College and also the Curry College pitching coach, in which his team was ranked #14 in the nation.  He has spent  5 summers coaching in the Cape Cod Baseball League,  4 summers as a Wareham Gatemen assistant coach. He formerly scouted for the Cincinnati Reds for  21 years. Coach Pereira, a long time high school coach has been running clinics and private lessons for over 20 years. He was the on-field director of all the Wareham Gatemen Youth Clinics for 2007 and 2011.
High School players who have participated in the Ultimate Throwing programs have gone on to the following National baseball programs, Stanford, Tulane, Temple, Fordham, Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, Northwestern, Charleston Southern, and Harvard and Team USA.  Six (6) Proway  Baseball alums that have participated in this program were drafted or signed with a MLB team.

Coach Pereira has worked with the dozens of  hitters and pitchers who play in professional baseball.  Many who are in the Major Leagues.
